Macca on the mark again in a losing cause again for Kidsgrove
http://www.evostikleague.co.uk/results.php
... and while you're there a few intriguing results etc, Mickleover fogged off and Tivi have a game off for a waterlogged pitch (it wasn't very wet here and I live 3 miles away) less than 48 hours after playing a JW Hunt Cup game on it

Does this mean we are in line to gain from a sell on fee? Or was that not part of his transfer deal, if I remember we got paid £5k for him from Kidderminster?

I've no idea what fee was published then but I think we learned a while back about sell-on clauses so yes, hopefully there'd be a few quid in it for us
Tyrone Barnett is currently an unused sub at Oxford so Chey would have at least one familiar face in the dressing-room

Thanks for your reply, good to see the lad do well.

And Steve Brannan was sent off for Kidsgrove in the same game for a two-footed lunge.

30% sell on for Chey according to Harrier's (unhappy) forumites.

I remember when he was at Leek and we played them away, he jumped into a challenge two footed before the echo of the referee's whistle to start the game had faded away.
I certainly pushed their no-swearing rule to the limit in response.

I gave him a bit of verbal too, to which he turned to look at me and said with a huge grin "you're just a wanker". I just grinned back at him, all good fun in the end!

"... had no hesitation..."
but it's taken a few days. Very poor train service to Oxford
KHFC fans describing him as a "true Kiddy great" - wow, praise indeed

Blissett has gone to Bristol Rovers too. As with Chey, the deal is initially a loan agreement, which will become permanent in January.

£70 - 75k being banded about on various forms of media with regards Cheyenne's fee from Harriers to Oxford. I make that a minimum of £21k for us in that deal
Interesting reading on big Bliss.... apparently a £50k deal that one and a number of L2 sides after him. I liked the lad a lot when he was here, but I didn't get the feeling he would be that in demand amongst the professional ranks
Harriers forum was almost in meltdown yesterday evening with the Blissett news, coming so soon after Cheyenne's move - they now fear bids for the likes of Marvellous Marvin and a whole lot more asset stripping by January. The epitome of a club very much at a crossroads at the moment - go part time and risk dropping out of the Conference, or stay full-time, continue to haemorrage money and try to remain competitive with a lesser set of players. What a mess!

This "loan with a view to the move becoming permanent" is just nonsense isn't it. But then again so is the transfer window which it's designed to circumvent...

There's a Ryan Price on this list (Leek to Halesowen), not sure if it's our "reserve keeper"
