It would be good for the FA to clarify when our tie will take place. A fair number get played on Sundays, but being a traditionalist I'm absolutely against this.

Anyone know when the schedule is likely to be announced?

Not on TV this time round. Tamworth v Huddersfield is live on BBC Two on the Friday night.

Wrexham are fast becoming the new Salford when it comes to TV coverage.

Have the FA decided which ties will be played on the Saturday afternoon and which will be played on the Sunday?

Don't think it's down to the FA. It'll either be club choice, tv coverage or in a few cases police intervention.
Don't see any problem for us it will be on the Saturday.

Last year only 5 of the 1st round ties were played on the Sunday, of which 3 were on TV. I also fully expect our game to be played on the normal day at the normal time.

I'm surprised they're allowing home games at Hednesford, Rushall and Walsall to coincide, would have expected at least one (probably of the latter two - John Allen is appealing for support and being at home at the same time as Walsall might not help them) to be rescheduled, but who am I to argue with the wisdom of the FA?

FA Cup prices then (for adults):

Rushall v Accrington - £15

Hednesford v Gainsborough - £13

Walsall v Bolton - £10

I have checked the FA Cup rules and it clearly states that the home team decides ticket prices but the minimum that can be charged for an adult is £10.

Thoughts?

It is interesting that our prices were announced with no reason given for an increase in the price. I’m not complaining about the increase but in the interests of transparency and with how the fans have supported the club in big numbers this season that it would have at least been proper to do so…
