Indeed, his first goal back in his second spell with them...

Interesting to see where the BBC rate the National League in their order of priorities...

Ridiculous isn’t it. I’m trying to work out what it is about a list of postponed Asian and North/Central American World Cup qualifiers that makes them more important than the National League North and South, but not as important as the National League...Glyn wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19 2020 6:17 amIndeed, his first goal back in his second spell with them...

Ashanti Pryce to Kettering
Bursik recalled by Stoke from his loan at Doncaster
Now England's U21 keeper too. Many of us thought he had the ability to be a bit special and it seems to be the case as he continues to develop at an impressive rate

Re: Old Player Watch
If my memory serves (and it doesn't always), I was chatting to Rob Smith before the PSF at Newtown in which Bursik made his debut for us (and when we were down to the bare bones because we already had players crocked from playing too many PSFs!) and it was very much a last-minute addition to our squad arising from one of those phone calls "do you have anyone to spare who could play for us?!"
Sliding doors moment...

Nice comments from Bursik about how beneficial his loan spells were...

Made his debut for Stoke yesterday... and having seen the brief-ish highlights on Quest (top billing!), I'd say he played behind a better defence for us...

And I see the BBC are now calling him "Burski"! (para 9)

I think goals against Derby should only count as half a goal...

Re: Old Player Watch
Reiss McNally to Brackley on loan from Moors...
...and straight into tonight's team for the F.A. Cup game against Tranmere on the council telly
I assume Glenn Walker is injured as he started against Kiddy the other day but isn't involved tonight

Another belter yesterday...
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55025696
In vain, sadly.
Hard to believe that they had doubts about re-signing him for this season...
Had to remind myself this morning where we signed him from...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_Jo ... born_1990)
Gosh, did he really only play 8 games for us??
I well remember his debut at Oxford City (I think!), "class above..."
