Re: Non-League News
Celebrity Farnborough fan Andy Smart on TS just now (they keep crashing out at the 2QR stage, even when that's where they enter it...) says he's hearing rumours that once Non Leagues have played SEVEN games, if there's another lockdown and the season is curtailed, then promotion and relegation would be decided on PPG...

If that sort of decision is to be made it has to be when each side has played at least 50% of games, other than that it needs to be declared null and void again.

If that is the case what another absolutely ludicrous decision everyone knows every league takes at least ten to fifteen games to settle down. The Beerhunter wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05 2020 9:35 pmI thought we didn't deal in rumours?Glyn wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05 2020 2:14 pm Celebrity Farnborough fan Andy Smart on TS just now (they keep crashing out at the 2QR stage, even when that's where they enter it...) says he's hearing rumours that once Non Leagues have played SEVEN games, if there's another lockdown and the season is curtailed, then promotion and relegation would be decided on PPG...

Re: Non-League News
Whilst I have some sympathy for these clubs, i do think that perhaps they should cut their cloth accordingly in the short term. It's great chasing promotion with big playing budgets, but the focus should be on a sustainable model without hand-outs from the government to fund a promotion push.
