Stafford Rangers invite 13 of last season’s squad back for training:

Great idea if you ask me considering their league position...

But it was all the Manager's and Assistant Manager's fault, the Assistant Manager who 's now Director of Football... ;)

If Alty were prepared to shell out 50 grand to play a game then they have more money than sense.

I'd missed this:

https://www.thenpl.co.uk/fa-statement-s ... n=football

"... due and proper consultation..." - erm, I was under the impression that the decision was made, dumped on the clubs and that was the first they knew about it.

How independent was the independent tribunal, one wonders...

Fascinating.

Even in the land of so-called "pub leagues" they've been able to decide promotion and relegation based on on-field performance rather than just declaring the season null and void...

What a stupid comment - has he ever tried to travel from Torbay to Barrow for a wet and cold Tuesday evening match?
I very much doubt it!
Torquay or Plymouth or Exeter to Barrow has always been the longest trip in the league!

I doubt it, since he lives in or near London, but he has no problem travelling to the North West. Independence for Devon and Cornwall is the only answer, then you can play among yourselves...

I believe distance-learning degree-level courses are now available in how the non-league pyramid is unwinding itself this season and how next season will work...
