Charlie was, of course, made famous by scoring one of the funniest own goals in the history of football:

Or, indeed, "Coury Grantham", it would worry me if our club didn't know how to spoll its players' names...

;)

Those guys "invited Trialist" are going to be in great demand....

I get the feeling KW much prefers to be a big fish in a small pond by playing in the pub leagues and not have the willpower to better himself. Wonder if I can get odds on Brad signing for Sherwood in the very near future?

Good luck to him - a decent ball-playing defender who never really pushed on as a first pick under any manager. Would expect him to be in high demand from the likes of Grantham, Barwell, Matlock, any of the step three mid-table teams closer to his home

Adam Thomas still doing well at Stockport:

...as manager Jim Gannon hopes he will sign a new contract with the club after a “significant contribution” last season.

Good luck to him. Spent a long time on the bench last season, but never seemed to mind too much and always displayed a good attitude.

This is a good move for him and Basford have a lot of ambition. I hope he does more than warm the bench because he should be playing.

We must have a bloody good centre half lined up to come in if we decided to let Gatts go.

This is a good move for him and Basford have a lot of money to waste on wages. I hope he does more than warm the bench because he should be playing.
Fixed for you Mr. K  In all seriousness, I'm pleased for him and will watch his progress with interest. A local gig right on his doorstep too.

Impressive considering he was a late addition to their squad after they had sacked Breeden. Another fine young keeper who has proven his worth by getting game time under his belt
