I think we will be starting as normal and either limited to numbers, via social distancing rules still or behind closed doors. In which case we would look to create a TV streaming service if possible to set up
In time.
Without wishing to rain on anyone's parade, I can't see clubs at this level agreeing to play behind closed doors. Many clubs rely almost exclusively on matchday receipts for their revenue. If you have virtually no money coming in how are player wages and travel costs going to be covered? A lot of clubs will struggle massively and some would not be able to pay players much more than expenses.
Rumours of playing behind closed doors will be just that.
my own view is that in order to complete a 42 game season (whenever it starts) you will most likely see county cup and league cup tournaments scrapped. PLay the league games and both national FA competitions. The big complication is that the FA Cup starts in just under 4 months and given that it is the competition which offers the main opportunity for prize money this will create an enormous headache for the FA.
with the above in mind, you are also reliant upon us having a mild winter with few postponements.
As far as social distancing is concerned, i'm not sure how that works in the context of a contact sport.
I'm hoping that life will return to normality quickly, but we are a long way from that yet.
