He's been there for the last couple of seasons (and getting paid far more than a WPL club should have been able to afford.....); I read recently that he's been playing in 5-a-side kickabouts in Liverpool and there's more here

Pompey latest

2p in the £1 for creditors and a previous owner planning to take over again

Staggering

Hard to believe any business would ever trade with them again

Lee has alerted me to this example of yet another club to pay its players far more than it can afford

They're in the Portsmouth area.... you'd think they'd be aware of the risks...??

.... and the Rangers saga has more twists and turns than any soap opera....

Fascinating chat with expert Keith Jackson on TS, he's been right about everything so far.... as far as I can recall...

a) SPL clubs will vote them out

b) players have until TOMORROW to decide whether to sign contracts with Newco - and his understanding was that whilst Newco is obliged to offer contracts to all RFC staff (playing and backroom) they aren't obliged to sign them

c) .... but whilst negotiations may have been done behind the scenes with the SFL, the decision as to whether TRFC start in Div One or 2/3 can't be made until after the SPL clubs vote next week, hence the RFC staff would be taking a "blind decision" in signing up with Newco

d) Green's projections depend upon injection of an additional £20m but it hasn't yet materialised - so Newco might yet find itself going into admin if, for example, season-ticket sales don't reach the requisite levels; and that might be why Walter Smith backed down from his projected rival bid, Newco might itself be ripe for a takeover!

e) TRFC admission to SFL could be open to challenge from its own clubs and indeed some clubs outside it, such as Spartans and AN Other Highland League club which applied for membership 2 years ago but were turned down

Certainly does the CV of Steve Flack a lot of good - 1 pre-season friendly in charge.
