He apparently hasn't been paid for ages and was revealed earlier in the week to be one of a group of players involved in a winding up application against the club. Their fans speculate that they won't see him in a Macc shirt again but he may still be contracted/registered with them so can't sign for anybody else.

I'd have thought they're in breach of contract if they haven't paid their players so Duzza, and the others, like many at Bolton, may have a get-out clause.
