Cancelling all their home games at the moment!

Postponing them....

It's due to a recent flood at the ground... but it certainly won't be doing their cashflow much good...

I did suggest somewhere that they played at Wrexham until their own ground is sorted, knowing how much the two clubs love each other....

More publicity for NL football than usual on there, because the producer of H&J's prog is a Gulls fan, and they also had on celeb TU fan comedian Charlie Baker (I know you've never heard of him Del but he is quite funny, and the two do a non-league podcast so good for them...)

The people they had lined up for the job were:

Gary Johnson

Chris Todd/Lee Hodges or both

Sam Allardyce to prove how good he really is

Andy Jacobs suggested Antonio Conte for the same reason....

He was on that list of possible names I mentioned above. Allardyce must have turned it down then....

The timing is interesting. Did they really not speak to him before dismissing Owers?

And he hopes to "lead the Club back to Division 2 and beyond" - now, "Division Two" hasn't existed for some little while, but I'm sure he knows more about football than I do....

So what's going on at Treyew Road .. home of Truro City? Nothing by all accounts!
It would appear that all remains intact down there, the pitch is still being maintained and used for training, the bar and Social Club is still open for use - so why the urgency to move matches up to Plainmoor?

Maybe these questions will be asked at the Open Meeting!
