Nantwich Town have signed Danny Glover and James Lawrie:

http://nonleaguedaily.com/nantwich-sign ... nd-glover/

Maybe if we had accepted our move to NPL and not put in what we know will be a failed appeal we might have been able to have kept one or both of them, but at least they haven't gone to Stafford.

I wonder if we could have afforded to keep Danny Glover regardless of league. I'd heard that Nantwich were in for him and that Rushall and a Step 4 club had made very good offers for his services.

They seem a tad confused as to whether Lawrie is an "attacking midfielder" or a "striker"

You'd think they'd know before signing him and putting out their PR... but, to be fair, he's an "attacking midfielder" who scores more goals than a good many "strikers".....

Lawrie had a good season for us, it's just a shame our final memory of him will be of him gifting Stourbridge the Birmingham Senior Cup.

George Carline signs on again for Solihull. I understand from their forum that he ended the season as their first choice right-back:

http://nonleaguedaily.com/hylton-and-ca ... ull-moors/

Their list of contracted players for next season include Tyrone Williams and Jamey Osborne.
