Indeed. We lag behind so many other clubs in these initiatives.
Of course they do have a chap called Terry Brumpton who sorts out these things.....

Are there any brainboxes out there who know what will happen next?
The NPL will be one team short, will they be after Hednesford or Coalville to take their place?
I have no idea which team is next in line for reprieve from relegation to step 4. Hopefully it'll be a northern team. Or has the time passed now and the NPL run with 21 teams?
We already have a mention on here:

I quite like that forum page, some good clean banter.
And here's that club statement, gleaned from it...

Couldn't have happened to a nicer club.
Bad news for us though as Rob has already geared half his squad up to be southern based.

I've already booked my hotel in Leiston. I'll sue if we're moved.

Hednesford - latitude 52.7116 N
Coalville - latitude 52.7246 N
Stafford is 52.8067 N btw.
Sorted it's Coalville.

At this stage the FA cannot move anyone North as clubs are well advanced in planning for next season and it simply wouldn't be right. the obvious thing to do is to run the NPL with one less club or to simply shunt teams up a league each.
If the FA did move us or Coalville North then players from that club would probably walk out placing that club at a massive disadvantage.
Shaw Lane were always a paper club and their ilk shouldn't be allowed to grace the upper echelons of non-league. if you are ground sharing you are on a dodgy footing and it shouldn't be permitted at Step 3 or above.

The owner may run a modest business but he's still found a spare million quid to throw at it over the recent years.
