I know that "we" love to poke fun at Welsh Premier League football but those who have actually watched it (whether in league or cup, live or on tv) lately will affirm that these teams play attractive passing football with great ball control, the kind of stuff which has been notably absent from HTFC's performances for the majority of this season
Once the date and venue for the final are confirmed (my understanding is that it's again at Newtown on Bank Holiday Monday) I'll be suggesting that HTITC run a coach so you guys can enjoy a game of football for a change...
No Thanks, watched most of it on TV and while the better two or three sides in the league play nice football the rest are just crap.
It so reminds me of the Celtic / Rangers no body else in the league scenario.
Sorry to put a damper on things mate but if TNS were allowed to play in the English leagues, they would struggle to finish half way up the NLN with that team. (and before you ask I have watched them five or six times on the telly this season)

I like watching footy, not knocking them just being observant on the comparative level they are playing at. Have you some Welsh blood somewhere, you can be so defensive about TNS

Went to Stourbridge v Stamford last night to take a look at the type of football we can expect next season.It hasn't changed much from when we were last in that league and will be hard to get out of.
Karl Hawley up front for Stour,still mobile and hard working.We didn't see much when we had him he didn't stay too long.
While we are talking about old players,in goal for Stamford was Paul Bastock who turns 46 next month so does he qualify under the old player watch?
Stour won 2-0 and just edged into the play off places.
Those of you with the staying power to watch Punch and Judy on Channel Five until after 10pm last night will have seen Chey Dunkley score with a fine header for Oxford, albeit in a losing cause as they, like so many teams in so many leagues on the verge of achieving promotion, are stuttering in the process...
