Hereford aggro at Dunkirk last weekend followed by more fighting as they won at Alvechurch last night

Re: Non-League News
Good article from Tony Incenzo (who kindly supplied an article for our programme during the season) about Non-League Finals Day...
http://www.nonleaguedaily.com/interview ... s-day.html
Those attendance figures are intriguing... I was there for that Kidder-Stevenage final; and at the old Wembley for one of Halesowen's Vase finals, also much better-attended than some of the recent ones....
Of course, if the new National Stadium had been built where it should have been, ie by the NEC, then fans from around the country might have found it easier and cheaper to get there....

A case of serious at a pub match in North Wales yesterday where a player who had just been sent off went into the and chinned a spectator who had been berating him.

at the sign-off remark. As we knew how the Redditch fans felt last week, we know how the Brakes ones do today!

Sarcasm doesn't suit you - certainly I was hoping they would gain promotion, as local teams doing well are thin on the ground down here, though saying that ...... ooop north don't do so well sometimes either!!Glyn wrote:

You must have a very poor memory of how they cheated us out of promotion mate; like Salisbury (and Farnborough and one or two more) they are forever on our "not like" list (and I've put that politely)Del wrote:Sarcasm doesn't suit you - certainly I was hoping they would gain promotion, as local teams doing well are thin on the ground down here, though saying that ...... ooop north don't do so well sometimes either!!Glyn wrote:

No, of course I remember that fiasco .. but they are still one of a minute number of clubs within a 110 mile radius of me who could have made it into a higher league.Glyn wrote:You must have a very poor memory of how they cheated us out of promotion mate; like Salisbury (and Farnborough and one or two more) they are forever on our "not like" list (and I've put that politely)Del wrote:Sarcasm doesn't suit you - certainly I was hoping they would gain promotion, as local teams doing well are thin on the ground down here, though saying that ...... ooop north don't do so well sometimes either!!Glyn wrote:

Now ... how many clubs do you have within that radius in a similar league or above?

Walsall Senior Cup final postponed after Lichfield City withdraw. Who'd have thought they would be big time charlies?
