Is that reliable source The Non League Paper?

No but it's a man who reads it (then leaves me to post on the forum what he emails me  :x    :-D )

Sounds like they are using a technicality to get him off the books. If he was scoring two goals a game I doubt he would have found himself suspended.

If he was scoring two goals a game I doubt if they'd be wanting him off the books or, indeed, if he'd have been playing Sunday League football to get a game.

We have a track record of strikers who've scored elsewhere but failed to do so for us - Bellingham, Diggin, etc etc etc etc, but he's the one who bucks (pun intended) the trend, played superbly for us but his career has spiralled into decline since he went to Stockport for the money

Customary assortment of ex-Pitmen on the mark in the NPL empire:

Elsewhere "the influential Chris Clements" netted for Mansfield but only in the 88th minute when they were 1-3 down

18 goals already for Luke Benbow this season at Rushall.

Why didn't we look at him pre-season?!

...and he got injured. Quite a few failed to impress in pre-season, but Rob stuck with them e.g. Adams etc.

Yer tis, if you didn't see it on Channel 5 last night

The lad has still got it, if a Premier League player slotted one like that the experts would be wetting themselves and comparing him with C Ronaldo...

By the way, no live studio audience for the aforementioned programme last night - they're spoiling my next programme column!!

Great spot.

Hope we're encouraging any potential bidders for Ossie to start a bidding war
