That was on the wrong thread though! I'm not going to bother reading updates to a match that I was standing there watching!

Belter. Get him back quick!

Good to see he didn't really celebrate.... the Alsager no 4 had evidently never seen him play before, took him completely by surprise (I had to google to see who the opponents were - friendly, I see...)

Decent through ball by Josh Craddock too....

I've suggested to Scott, who has a tad more time on his hands than I do at present, that he emails the highlights of HTFC 5-4 SRFC to them so that they can put the other night's non-competitive goal into context...

Customary assortment of ex-Pitmen on the mark in the NPL empire:

Meanwhile the prolific Karl Hawley missed a sitter then a penalty as Stourbridge failed in their attempt to "put Stourbridge firmly on the football map", as I heard it described this morning.

very kind! I like the reference to 'moneybags Fleetwood'. That part of the world appears to have more than its share of benevolent souls prepared to bankroll a hobby club

Nathan Modest scored a last minute winner in a 3-2 victory for Evesham at Tiverton on Saturday.

Presumably dual-registered to get some minutes on the pitch?
