He's going to bring a couple of players in and move five or six out?

That'll sort it...

:roll: :doh:

From Bucks Chat:

Watson's style of play does nothing to attract supporters, together with:
his poor decision to retain players who were in and out of the Conf North team, to play at Prem level;
the continual recruitment of ex-Scouseport mates;
his regular slagging off of named players on the radio;
the lack of urgent activity before the end of the transfer window.

What a shambles.

The only reason he is still with us is surely that we cannot afford to sack him

See, some clubs' fans don't like their manager, even after he's led them to promotion!

Who keeps giving him the key?!
Fear not, Bucks have rediscovered their form against strong opposition in front of a big (crows)

Seems the Hereford crisis is going to run all season - but hey ho, at least it boosted the crowd at Kidder last night!

...and drew with Strangers.

It did seem odd that Loughborough were at the top of the league. It seems that getting good players in and not paying them is one way of getting (very) short term success.

Football is a haven for spivs it seems

You came out with some good words the other night PP.
'Spiv' is another one. Reminds me instantly of Flash Harry in the St Trinians films, played by George Cole, who later played the part of another Spiv, Arthur Daley, in Minder.
It took me years to understand "here's" from "hears", so their you go!

Hereford:

(court case adjourned until December, so....)

http://newsroom.herefordshire.gov.uk/20 ... -club.aspx

My source tells me that some players are SLEEPING in the ground! - though the Fire Service have been unable to substantiate this as it might contravene ground/safety/fire regs anyway

It will all end in tears

Those experts on playing budgets in our midst may be a tad surprised at their (previous) figure for a NPL club

Interesting to note the role that the supporters club play in covering pitch hire (from the council?) and coach hire for away games. I imagine that those costs are relatviely high so credit to the fans.
ALso credit to the management team for not taking a wage - I suspect this is the case at other clubs so hopefully when results don't always go well fans would do well to remember this.

...so we'll never see another Hereford et al??!!

All that needs addressing now are the debt levels to other creditors such as 'landlords' / local authorities etc

...good luck with that one!

Interesting - they have taken the page down.

A firm of Solicitors was claiming back £150,000 from the previous owner - debt carried over ....

Maybe it was premature - that's can happen in soliciting!
