Hereford threatened with administration according to the BBC. If they have points deducted they'll probably get relegated to CN as they are having a very poor season already.

It was reported recently that they had to make two part time masseurs redundant. Bit of an extravagance in the first place

I'm sure those that have done their homework and looked at the sums will do well. Maidstone, for example, have a lot of use for their pitch and it would seem that the payback is relatively quick.
May be more difficult for other clubs where geography is an issue or where there are alternative venues (Cannock Cricket and Hockey club in our case)

Grants cover a substantial part of the initial outlay and then they pay for themselves through community use (and non-postponement of scheduled league/cup games) over just a few years whereafter it's all profit

Ask TNS, Stratford Town, Gala Fairydean et al, they really work.

When you get the chance to play at Keys Park at 12 noon on a Saturday before the first team takes over you'll see the benefit...
