Very tough indeed for whoever wins the replay. I was under the impression (mistakenly) that the next round was to be played on the 19th, not the 26th.

Just for once the FA seem to know what they're doing...Perton Pitman wrote:Very tough indeed for whoever wins the replay. I was under the impression (mistakenly) that the next round was to be played on the 19th, not the 26th.

Hyde won 1-0 tonight to go top of the Blue Square North in front of 351 fans..
Just goes to show how well we are doing to be growing our attendances, in fact, we are higher that 17 Blue Square North sides at the moment.
I would say we are at least one level below where we deserve to be at the moment!

Kendal 0-6 Stourbridge
Phenomenal result which earns Stour a tie at home to Chester (let's hope they stuff them too!)
And encouragement for us, drawing the home leg doesn't mean you're out!

Bucks go to Nunny. That will be fun. They love one another very much!!
No point Vics going through to lose at home to Fleetwood, so they might as well come and lose at Keys Park instead...

Interesting reactions to Chester's first-ever visit to Stourbridge

.... but the whingers seem to be in the minority, as is usually the case!
Heaven knows what the thread-originator would have said if they'd lost!!
From my point of view, the club did pretty well handling a big crowd (they're getting plenty of practice, just a shame the game was a non-event, not helped by the text updates I was getting from Stocksbridge!)
While you're on their forum, take a look at the thread on policing costs as well, fascinating stuff!

And BTW, as I texted several pals during their game on Saturday, they don't even know what their team is called - they were chanting "Come on City...."
(Strangers and Nuneaton fans also please note.... "Boro/Borough"?! )
