Is it just coincidence, I wonder, that they've delayed going into admin and reaping the 10-point deduction until that leaves them just about certain nevertheless to stay up?
Have been exchanging tweets with a Hereford (and ex-TNS, ex-AFCTU) player of my acquaintance.... the PFA are giving the Bulls players no help whatever re their unpaid wages. Maybe they've had other priorities this week....
This from my Hereford Reporter...
It seems the Directors no longer want to fund the club, not sure where 135k is going to come from to cover the outstanding Wages/VAT/PAYE/Water the grass through the summer!
We could be looking at the next Chester/Halifax/Aldershot/Newport that is if Aldershot don't go bust before us!
Not quite sure how they can afford to play at Long Lane if they can't afford to pay the rent on Noose Lane... but that's their concern - I wonder if the Long Lane ground is that where Wyrley Rangers used to play (RIP)?

Over 200 season tickets already sold for next season...

Have to say, I've always doubted this stuff about productivity going up just because a football team wins a game or two, or a trophy.... and yet, after our last three midweek wins, I've been absolutely buzzing for the rest of each week, so maybe there's something in it!!
...however 9000 season ticket holders is still pretty impressive for League 1 and they would probably be guaranteed 15000 at each game providing ticket prices were realistically priced. My mate's a Carlisle fan and the other's a WOlves fan and we're already waiting for the fixture list to come out - well, the WOlves fan is less keen than we are - (hopefully no clash with HTFC as obviously I would be at our game).
I like the comment about taking the opportunity to do some shopping and have a few drinks before / after going to the game. If you want to browse charity shops and window shop for mortgage rates then the 'city' is well served indeed.
I notice that Coventry are planning to leave the Ricoh having been locked out!!

(chuckles)
Maybe they could groundshare with Wolves then the city would have an influx of people every Saturday rather than just every other one...
