fastest ever hednesford goal ??

recently ive rediscovered a lot of my old records and results of htfc and have decided to compile them into my own database for something to do in my spare time. i inherited my uncles old diaries going back to the 1970’s & 80’s he recorded the majority of games from around 1980 until his passing some 10 years ago.

while looking through 1991 i found this entry 16th march 1991

hednesford 5 v dudley 0
a walsh (26 sec)
j o, connor 3rd
a king 18th
b young o.g 54th
k foster 87th pen
unfortunately no attendance.

if the goal time of 26 seconds is correct which im nearly certain it is (most likely taken from a newspaper or program which may be in my loft) is that the fastest ever goal by a htfc player?

also recorded 26th jan 1991 my first ever game was away to racing club warwick (2-1 win) id have been 7 at the time (33 years ago)

Leicester Utd, formerly Enderby Town

I'll check my records tomorrow re the Dudley game and Walshies goal time, I've probably got the attendance as well.
My records go back to 1969.

I seem to recall watching us play at Leicester Utd and we drew 1-1 with Kevin Collins scoring direct from a corner in the first half. Not sure if this is the same fixture referred to in this thread

On reflection I might be wrong. I think we may have won that game 1-0 and it was the season we reached the Welsh Cup Final which was the following year I think

I've now found my book for 1990/91 attendance recorded is 369 and according to the Cannock Advertiser report Walshies goal was timed at 90 seconds.
