Brilliant, two trips to Widnes next season instead of one!

Midland League. No chance they are going in the NWCFL.

Well that’s a new one, fielding 4 subs in the same game. How did nobody notice?!

It's a strange one as I know there are not 4th officialls but somebody on the bench must have been keeping track, and you would think its as simple as somebody turning round an counting! Could be a big point aswel depending on the outcome of the game with city if Liverpool tomorrow night.

Apparently the Bootle keeper got injured and they used all their 3 subs. So they used an emergency 4th sub but the concussion rule doesn’t apply to this level

Ah, that helps to explain why it may have happened and it wasn’t something as simple as a miscount. Thanks.

No worries, hopefully this incident will get the FA/league to re-evaluate the rule, surely should be at every level

I think the problem you have on my forum Keith is that the guys there are trying to predict the most likely projections for allocations next season looking at the overall picture. That obviously presents issues that for some clubs is not what they ideally want.

That seems to be the case here as you obviously want the best for your club but if it massively affects other clubs in a negative way as is explained then it probably won't happen.

These projection threads have been a regular feature on the forum for many years and the guys who do them really do know their stuff. Some people think they are actually what will happen and of course that isn't the case but I would just say that I know for sure that FA Officials are aware of this regular thread and the projections are quite often uncannily accurate.

I understand yours and their point of view and their hard work Steve, but if you can't put a genuine point out there for honest discussion without being slagged off or unceremoniously dismissed its a sad day and not worth the effort. Plus others on there are also there posting their own rhetoric which involves their own clubs best interests above their openesz to discuss. I won't be replying to any of their "astute observations" or posting on your website forum again which should make people happy. End of.

I went up to Runcorn this evening, and they were very ooor compared to how they played against us.
COL went in 1 up and half time and shit up shop 2nd half, killed the game with a 2nd.
I hate to say it but COL deserved the win

LOL, very unfortunate keyboard error there :-)

City of Liverpool were the best team I’ve seen in our league this season so fair play to them. Should be a decent final between them and Cables.
