The signing of Ryan Brown is interesting. One assumes that he will be cover for Boucher? Brown was second choice at Kidsgrove, but I'm struggling to see why he would want to join us at this stage of the season when he may get more game time elsewhere.
A contract until the end of next season is a statement by the club. Hope that all of this is sustainable and the lad isn't playing at step 5 next season under a contract!

I see Brown as competition for Boucher, not just as cover. Both goalkeepers have made crucial mistakes in games and both have also kept us in games at times with crucial saves so it should be a good battle between the two and should make whoever has the jersey up their game.
We’re on our way, we’re on our way, to the EFL, we’re on our way (26/01/24)

Why would he be playing at step 5? We’ll stay up either way through our own work or via a reprieve.

Still a few wins required either way - ideally I'd like us to get to 40 points then we won't have to worry as we will probably finish outside the bottom two with that tally.
The owners have backed Harris so now he has to get the formation and tactics right and get the squad to gel. Midfield is still a slight concern for me as that is where we struggle most weeks, but Harris has no excuses now if he can't turn this around.
I assume this is the Blain Rowe post from Twitter Arrows87?
Sadly when it's deleted you have no trace, which is why you should screen shot it and not just post a link!

Apparently Darlington have only terminated the player's contract today and so by announcing the signing last night we jumped the gun a bit
I suspect no one told Dan so he innocently released his video
Villa have been a great club, are still a great club and always will be a great club.

I'm sure Dan is not at fault. More interestingly it seems players can sign contracts prior to their existing contract being terminated. Scope for things getting messy!
Quick update,Jake Jervis is not available for today but was taken into account when registering.
With Blaine Rowe a minor contract amendment required meant that we missed the unforgiving registration deadline by 4 minutes. Disappointing for the player and staff alike.
