Welcome Jai!
I think the loyal comment was more to do with his loyalty to Harris rather than to Walsall Wood. As we all know, you see a lot of that in non-league.
Yes, I made the connection. It's a different world these days as we saw with Liam MacDonald!
I don’t completely agree with it to be honest as the club are the ones paying your wages, but it seems to be how the game is now.

As long as it’s approached in the correct manner, then that’s the main thing. This seems to be the case with us and Walsall Wood/Ian Long judging by his comments in the Express and Star last week.

Thanks to Desean for coming back to the club when we needed players who were proud to wear the shirt. Probably the right decision - good luck for the future.

Shame about Dish, reading between the lines a management decision rather than player?

Harry must have someone lined up to replace him

It's a shame, but Desean's style of play has made him a bit of a target for refs this season and the one last week was pretty quick to book him in the first half.

I'm guessing that Verma will be the first of a number joining the club in the next week or so.

Yes, hoping Harry brings in a forward or 2 soon.

Jamie Spiers looked for more comfortable out of the left on Tuesday, than he did up front last Saturday.

Haven't seen enough of Callum to cast judgement yet, but he looks a little small and lightweight for some of the physical centre backs in the league.

Daniel Gyasi still not signed for anyone since leaving Wood, surely going to join Jai in the white and black?

Also Kieran Boucher not getting a game for Wood since Harris left. I rated him best keeper at step 3 when he was at Redditch.

Yes, they've just brought in a new 1st choice GK haven't they.

Boucher would be a great signing for us I think. Agree with you Keith, was rated highly at step 3.

Be interesting if we did bring him in, what implications it would have on Ryan Brown's long term future with us.

I think Ryan Brown is on loan and Kidsgrove have him on contract so the reality is he doesn't have a future with us beyond the short-term. Boucher is a fine keeper and we need some stability in between the sticks as I've lost count of how many keepers we've had in the last few years.

I think endall for this league makes sense and we do lack physicality and height ,particularly now martin has gone.cant say I'm over fussed about forbes going, alot of tricks and he could win free kicks but no end product at all and with jai on paper looking a huge step up I don't think it's much of a loss.

Another positive signing. Begs the question as to what happens to Griff, Sutton and Williams as I suspect we can't retain all of these players.
We need to start winning games now!

Griff and Williams can play in a variety of positions so are of value to the squad. The one I'd fear for is Mendez-Jones not a great injury record over the last few years.

Endalls form in his last short spell with us was shocking, he was responsible for at least three goals conceded in three separate games.
Let's hope he's better suited at Step 4.

Only a loan I hope, a very good young keeper.

I did used to be able to show the tweets as a picture but I’m struggling to remember how I did it not to show as a link
