Oh dear. They haven't told Gainsborough that they are using their ground!

Re: Clubs in crisis
Another example of a club's existence hanging by a thread, in part, due to the fact that 'the club' don't own their own ground.

A local source tells me that, whilst Nuneaton have now paid their landlord, they do have another £650k of debt..

Is that the distant sound of buckets shaking I hear...?
As we know, if you don't own your ground then you are always going to be on the edge.

Re: Clubs in crisis
What a shambles. An example of a club living well beyond its means. Sympathy for the fans, but none for the club.
If the bucket shakers come out in force then people should give them a wide berth as there are better, more deserving causes to support

Re: Clubs in crisis
Have the buckets been brought out of retirement? I'm not sure how long they will carry on stringing the fans along for, but at some point the penny will drop and they will realise that a team that is challenging at the top of its league, yet can't cover its costs is doomed.

And here's me thinking the issue was with the ground and not the club

Very sad, but Strangers will be thinking this increases their chances of staying up
