Good to see the BCFA is looking to reduce journey times for the clubs drawn away.
Wonder if Tamworth will play a second string XI when the play us as I'm sure they have bigger fish to fry these days

I take it back. The Harris factor is changing things.

Just one tie outstanding from round 2 then we will know who makes up the last 16

Racing Club Warwick or Lye Town away please. The only two grounds I haven’t been to, although knowing how they like to regionalise it without telling us we’ll probably be in a pot with Darlaston and draw them home or away.

4, possibly 5 , professional sides in the last 16. They are usually kept apart and are drawn away so i reckon we have a 1 on 3 chance of being drawn at home to one of those.
Of the non-league sides left , only 2 play at step 3 with everyone else being step 4 or 5. There is scope for one of the lower level clubs to progress through the rounds.

The BCFA wants the ties played by 23rd December. Some fixtures are taking place over the next couple of weeks so it may be case that we play the winners of Romulus v Burton during w/c 18th December.

Ties at Tividale and Sutton Coldfield have been arranged for 9th January so there appears to be no rush…Perton Pitman wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03 2023 8:39 pm The BCFA wants the ties played by 23rd December.
