As the club statement says they've put Danny Livesey (UEFA B-Licence holder) in interim charge, it's what clubs do in the North-West...

Fine margins though. They did have the better of the game and hit the woodwork twice. Had they won the game it could have saved him.

Raynor was brilliant when he managed us for about 12 games. If you liked alternate 6-4 wins and 3-7 defeats it was wonderful🤣🤣

11 games, won 2 lost 9. Sacked after a 2-4 home defeat against Weymouth on September 22nd 2001.

I think he signed some really sub-standard players from the Sheffield area. I also recall we squeaked past Stafford Town 4-3 , coming back from 3-1 down.

I'm sure we were 2-0 up with 20 mins left in that Weymouth game.
The point I was trying to make though was his philosophy was if you score six we'll get seven, never quite happened that way though🤣
